Welcome! Since 2012, Christina Favretto Morris has shepherded hundreds of students in a highly organized, data-driven, and thoughtful way. Her counseling philosophy emphasizes a positive, proactive approach, and she encourages students to take ownership of the process. Christina works with a diverse group of students, visits dozens of colleges, and actively builds relationships with college admission reps. Born and raised in the DMV - and a proud Holton-Arms alumna - Christina is intimately familiar with the pressures and stress that can accompany growing up in such a high-achieving area, and this background helps to inform and guide her college counseling work. Before launching Rooted & Rising, Christina worked for over 13 years as a consultant at two highly-regarded independent educational counseling firms with strong local and national reputations.
